Everybody likes to use their abusive parents as an excuse for why they suck at life.  If they drank their way through college and didn’t graduate, it’s because of the abuse they underwent as children.  If they are dirty sluts who have sex with married men as if it were going out of style, they had a dad who beat the crap out of them.  If they are addicted to heroin and live in a cardboard box in a back alley, their mom verbally and physically abused them. 

You see the trend?  People like to blame their abusive parents for everything, but you are proof that even kids who get the shit beat out of them by their parents can turn out completely fine in the end.
